Personally for me it did make my hair darker however my hair did feel dry before and after blowing out , it could just be because I have really curly hair naturally..i dont know but i did use a heat protectant before blowing. It makes my hair super shiny and soft, but I don't think that it's all too suitable for oily hair because hair won't stay shiny for long. My hair usually gets oily within 24hours but I found with this shampoo and conditioner I was able to wait 2 days before re washing.
